UFO Busting #54

I will be keeping things short and simple this week.  Yesterday I got to celebrate my Island Batik finish for the Vintage Reimagined Challenge.

For the challenge I decided to transform the sawtooth quilt block into something fun and meaningful to me.

If you get a chance, I hope you will hop over and check it out here.  Now it's time to focus on the April challenge.  It will leave me cutting up a good time.

This week I would like to high light a UFO finish (though it wasn't a UFO for long) that makes me burst with happiness...Sandra at mmm!quilts finished up her Fireburst Mystery Quilt!

Sandra joined in last year as we sewed along through Wonderland's first every mystery quilt along.  She has filled her recent finish with so much quilty texture.  It just bursts with it!  Make sure you hop over and congratulate her on her finish.

Now let's see what you have been up to this week.  Link up below and tell us about it.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

Sorry to keep things so brief this week.  We have been preparing to travel to my daughter's last state archery shoot and I've been focusing on my challenge project.  When you are grounded, not a lot can go on.

Squeal! Thank you for making my Saturday, well not that it wasn't already made by my daughter Dayna's presence :-) by featuring my Burst of Spring. Good luck to Jenny this weekend!! May her arrows fly straight and true.
