Happy--Artsy Fartsy Challenge

Artys Fartsy was the name of the game from Island Batik and Aurifil this month.  The challenge was to create a quilt with thread being our main focus.  They encouraged us to think of it as fabric is our canvas and thread is our paint.  Our only rule was to use at least 3 different weights of Aurifil thread...challenge accepted!

Woot I'm back!  It's been hard to keep up with blogging, working, being an adult and sewing.  I'm not sure I'm liking it much, but I'm back this week so let's party!  I'm still mostly working on secret sewing stuff, but I have a few things that I can share with you.

Our second box of goodies from Island Batik arrived and as you can see, everyone was excited to see what's inside.  I will have an unboxing video up soon and a full length post to show you all goodies contained within.  How do you feel about videos?  Is that something you enjoy seeing from your blogging friends?

UFO Busting #66

Welcome to UFO Busting late 4th of July style.  It's been such a crazy two weeks that last weekend came and went before I realized I missed my own party.  If anyone can be late to their own funeral...I'm pretty sure it will be me.  I want to show you all the amazing sewing I've been doing, but dang it, it's pretty much all secret sewing for upcoming events.  So my question is what can I show you??  How about this.
