UFO Busting #41

It's the day before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring not even a....wait what's that noise?  Why it's ma in the sewing room quilting up a storm!  There's presents to be finished!  I'm calling this the Christmas miracle addition.  The party is two days late from posting, but that is okay.  Life did what it does, and things got a bit crazy.  This past week there was no sewing, but my daughter and I received a Christmas gift that will leave our hearts full this year and it didn't come from Walmart.

With the New Year around the corner, several new quilt alongs will be starting.  This year, other than hosting my own, I pretty much took a break from blocks of the months and mystery quilts.  This year, I'm going to allow a few more to sneak in.

This is my fabric pull for Pat Sloan's Out of this World monthly quilt along, that will begin around January 1st.

And a fabric pull for Pat's A Flower Bouquet weekly sew along.

The best thing was, other than 10 fat quarters, everything else came straight for my stash.  I get to stash bust too!

I also got to share this past week my second Fireburst Mystery Quilt finish, Party Fireburst.

You can read more about the quilting of Party Fireburst here.

Don't forget there is still plenty of time to send me pictures of your finished Fireburst quilt tops and quilts to be entered into the New Years parade of quilts.  Just send your picture, name and where you are from to tishnwonderlandqal(at)gmail(dot)com.

Now let's see what you've been up to this past week.  Remember Santa is watching.

Thanks for the heads up on Pat Sloan's new QALs. Maybe I'll join in this year!

Merry Christmas, Tish. I'm glad to hear you and your daughter are having a great holiday. May your new year be full of hope and promise! :)

Merry Christmas, Tish! I'm planning to join a few QALs in the new year, specifically Lorna's Harry Potter QAL and the hand sewing QAL at Elm Street Quilts. Love that you are doing yours with stash!

Merry Christmas, Tish (a bit late, sorry)! I'm going to try not to dive into too many QALs this year. I am behind on Moda Blockheads 2, and I need to get caught up on that. I have signed up for a couple, but that should be my limit. We'll see if I stick to it!

I love your fabric pull for Pat Sloan's mystery. I love her designs and am surprised at the theme of this one. It doesn't seem to be her typical style.
