S.S. Playtime Plus

The S. S. Playtime Plus Quilt or rather Super Sexy Playtime Plus Quilt is about to set sail.  Her first stop on this quilting cruise was the fabric store to scratch that I need new pretties itch.  I've been in great debate since Sandra (mmm!quilts) announced this QAL on what fabrics to use.  I decided on classic red, black, white and a little gray for fun.  I finally landed on a layout.

Although, I may end up swapping the gray and black plus placements.
I threw my nets in the sea of the stash to see what I  could find.  I definitely didn't come up empty handed.

Here is the pile of grays and blacks that joined my store purchases.  Now it's back to the map to see where this journey will lead to next.

If you haven't checked out the Playtime Plus QAL, make sure you travel to mmm!quilts for more details.  There will be lots of fun sewing and even prizes at the end!

And don't forget the 2018 New Quilt Bloggers Blog Hop will be kicking back off tomorrow with the introductions of eight new quilt bloggers...and more prizes!  It's like a party everywhere you turn!  If you haven't met the sixteen bloggers introduced, you can find information about there here.

Love your fabric pull! After pulling some things for your mystery QAL I feel another way of destashing is coming up....Kitting up a few more quilts or fabric groupings so they are ready to hop on board with another project. That may be too organized, never mind!

I like that you are going scrappy for the black and gray and I look forward to seeing it come together for you!

This says with a swish of the hips, 'Look at me in this sexy outfit/quilt' and I love it! Cannot wait to see it fall into place, and thank you for quilting along!

I love the colours. The red makes it look so elegant...Now I wish I was doing the Paytime Plus....just don't have enough time right now.

This is going to be a snazzy quilt, Tish! I like the various grays and blacks, and you can't go wrong with red! I may have to go shopping (stash first, then maybe shop) to get caught up with the two QALs!

A classic color combination and just so yummy! You know me and QAL's...they never get finished (think Midnight Mystery...) :) Although I am tempted to join in on yours...

Now I want to make a red, black, white, and grey one. LOL Can't wait to see it all pieced together. Great colour scheme.

Oo la la! Very sexy. There's a reason that classic negligees are often black and red. Just sayin' :)

Don't know if it's just me . It's always just me . But when I'm in the laptop the comment bit disappears . Ok on the phone though . I like your fabrics , very sexy . Funny - plus playtime , I kept thinking play time plus and that made me think of adult play time . Sounds like a disreputable magazine or some such

That looks like a fun QAL. How could it not be sexy with red and black, right?
