It's Saturday and Happy Halloween! The only thing I'm scared of is this quilting streak fading away again. Last week, I posted about a recent quilt finish for my sweet niece Pickle.
You can read more about this finish here and found out how you can get a copy of this free pattern.
I've also started marking my second version of Sandra at mmm!quilts Let Your Star Shine Quilt.
I'm seeing lots of ruler work combined with some free motion fillers. I hope to have this one all finished up in about a week...just in time for my next squirrel project...Angela Walter's Fabulous Feathers QAL. My panel arrived this week and I'm happy to say I have it all basted up.
The challenge will walk you through quilting feathers and several feather fillers. If you are interested in joining in, you can read more about the challenge here. On the fence? There is still plenty of time to grab a panel from her shop and join us on Nov 16th for some fun time quilting.
Enough about me...what about you? Link up below and share with us what you have been up to this week.

I'm so glad your BACK! I also cannot WAIT to see how you quilt this second version of Let Your Star Shine. I don't know how, but I bet you will top the first one! And ha, a squirrel too - it is sooo tempting to join in this one but so far I've resisted.
So glad to see you quilting and sharing again. I'm not a FMQ feathers kind of gal, but I'm sure it's just because I haven't loosened up and practiced (a lot). I'm excited to see your progress with the panel.
Hi Tish!! I'm proud of you for finishing Pickle's piece and that you're joining Angela's FMQ challenge. She runs a good ship and I enjoy watching her videos. She is a FMQ enabler, if you will. I really am looking forward to joining in and seeing your progress! It's such a lovely panel . . . and thread. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
What a beautiful panel! And threads!!! I can read your excitement, Trish--this is going to be good! So glad to see you back here with your quilting!!!
Sure have missed you and glad to see you are back. Love your finish and that you made another Let Your Star Shine Quilt! I am tempted by Angela's class...but think I will miss this one...maybe next one. I do have two panels - Hoffman Dream Big - which I keep putting off. Time to bite the bullet on it, but I think January will be when I do them. Seems like the holiday times would be crazy.
I had a bit of a break as well. Slowly getting back into things. Happy quilting.
