To-Do Tuesday

Okay.  Wow.  I don't think I've ever taken a break from blogging this long (okay maybe once before).  I've decided today is the day to come back.  Sometimes, life just gets in the way.  I haven't really been quilting that much, so there hasn't been much to share.  Hopefully, this list will get me stitching and see some progress being made.

1)  Finish blocks for charity raffle quilt

Every year our guild does a raffle quilt and donates the money to a local charity.  Even with the Covid craziness we are trying to whip one up.  Everyone was challenged with making two blocks.  I have four made but hope to have a total of 12 to offer up.  I'm hoping by the weekend, I will have all made and ready to turn in.

2)  Baste a T-shirt quilt.

I have been hired to make a t-shirt quilt for a friend's brother...it's a paid gig, so why not.  Now all that's left to do is baste it up and get to quilting.

3)  Write about a finished baby quilt.

This sweet little quilt has been finished and gifted for over a month.  I don't think a post happened because something is wrong with my camera and I didn't get the pictures I wanted.  However, I have several from my phone, so enough is enough.  It's time for a post.

4)  Bring back UFO busting!

Oh my goodness...it's been over a month since I partied.  This Saturday,  I hope to be back and partying with everyone!

That's it for today...keep the list small.  I'm linking up with Roseann and Sue over at Home Sewn By Us.  It's been way too long.

Hi Tish! I've missed you, my friend. I feel remiss for not reaching out but I can offer a big huge {{{hug}}} just for you. I wish I could deliver it in person. Love your churn dash blocks. Aren't you the overachiever offering up 12 blocks instead of just 2. Love the t-shirt quilt layout. I've never thought to combine the t-shirts with pieces blocks!! This is fabulous. I love the stars and frame shapes. I think I need to PIN this so I can remember to try this idea sometime. Brilliant! That is one sweet baby quilt - the colors and the prints are so pleasing. I know that baby feels all the love you stitched into it. Welcome back and thank you for linking up today. ~smile~ Roseanne

Good to see you posting again, Tish! I love those charity blocks - the colors are so pretty. Cool t-shirt quilt, and the baby quilt was so pretty. Gosh, I don't think I've had a finish in awhile, so I should maybe put that on my to do list!

I also love churn dash blocks and just found a few today, from when and where I have no idea but they seem to have an I spy theme so maybe I will make a few more and offer it as a baby quilt to someone. Nice post glad you are back also.

I think we all need a break sometimes! I hope that sewing the blocks for your guild is a fun and helps get you ready to quilt the commissioned T-Shirt quilt. Welcome back!
