To-Do Tuesday #1
I've decided this year, I'm going to start checking in with Roseanne and Sue at Home Sewn By Us and their weekly To-Do Tuesday linky. So I can instantly cross writing this post off the list...pat on back. So let's take a look at what I think I might accomplish this week.
1) Work on and hopefully finish all the Mosaic Mystery instructions to date (up to December anyway). So far I have all the pieces cut and diagonals marked for each bit that has been released. Now to find time to sew.
2) Decided on fabrics for Pat Sloan's 2020 Mystery BOM Out West. I've decided not to follow her color way and do my own thing. Hopefully, I will be able to pull most of my fabrics from my stash.
3) Finish piecing Pat Sloan's A Flower Bouquet mystery block of the week quilt from 2019. I have the top section pieced and all of the blocks for the second section pieced (I'm pretty sure). I just need to finish putting this baby together.
4) Decide on a Monthly Goal for January
5) Write a To-Do post for next week. I think it's a good idea to put this on my list...at least in the beginning until a habit has formed :)
It will be fun to check in next week and see how much of my list I can accomplish. Let's pray number 5 gets checked ;)

A To Do List is a good idea as long as it is doable. Hope you get accomplish all your goals for the week. Happy Stitching!
I am contemplating doing a list like that too - I want to try to organize myself a little bit - but then my husband says if I am following a list wouldn't it seem more like work instead of just plain fun and what I do when I want to do? Not sure we will see - good luck
A weekly to do list does help in keeping us focused on the things that are important to us. May you have a happy and productive 2020.
Pretty colors in your projects! Pat Sloans qals are always tempting to me - I'll have to go check out the Out West one!
I like it!! and thanks for the pat sloan link!
Hi Tish! I am so thrilled you remembered and made quite a nifty list. It doesn't seem to me to be TOO overwhelming, especially since there is a holiday and a weekend in there. Of course, unexpected obligations can pop up in a so we don't stress over things not being completed. Hmm, I'm wondering what colorway you'll use for the Out West BOM. I'll be interested in seeing that and some of the blocks - I'm not real big on 'mystery' anything unless it's a book. I've even been known to read the last chapter first. HAHA! Now, what to make as my January OMG project - what to do, what to do. Happy New Year to you, my friend. Thanks for linking up today. ~smile~ Roseanne
Good luck with your to-do list. I need to do something different this week to keep me on track. Happy New Year.
The reveal for Mosaic Mystery was yesterday. Wish I'd put that on my to do list. It's another winner from Cheryl. Good luck with your to do list.
